Paska has intrigued
and charmed festival, gallery, and theater audiences the world over with
his singular brand of solo puppet artistry. This is the New York premiere
of the third in his series of "little mental dramas," collectively called
Theater for the Birds. Here, Paska offers a humorous and introspective
look at the question, "Is there a future for life on earth?" Performed
with innovative rod puppets and set in a strange world of found objects,
the work has been described by Paska as "his first clown tragedy with
a happy ending."
