GARLAND FARWELL began working in puppet theater while a student in Rhode Island. Since then, he has worked in Berlin, San Francisco, and New York. He is the recipient of numerous awards and fellowships.

CARL HANCOCK RUX has written numerous plays including Song of Sad Young Men, Chapter and Verse,ŠFrom an Asphalt Yard, and Geneva Cottrell Waiting for the Dog to Die which have been staged off-Broadway, throughout the United States, and in both Europe and Africa. His poetry for dance works has been commissioned by companies as diverse as The Alvin Ailey Dance Theater and Marlies Yearby¹s Movin¹ Spirits Dance Theater. Rux was a 1993/1994 Mabou Mines Resident Artist. His poetry appears in the new anthology Aloud: Voices From The Nuyorican Poets Café.

BONNIE METZGER recently directed a workshop of a new opera, The Pompeii Exhibit with Thalia Field and Toshiro Saruga at the Kitchen. She has been assistant to Harold Prince since 1992. She was formerly director of BACA Downtown. She has worked with Reno on a show that premiered at P.S. 122 last year.
