Representing Stein¹s characters (a man who looks like Dashiell Hammett, a woman who looks like Lady Diana Grey) with an ingenious assortment of taffeta fabrics and industrial materials, Tierney captures the elegant superficiality and purposelessness movement that inspire this classic Stein play.
