Evidence of Floods is a walk-through diorama-performance in eight scenes using puppets, actors, and miniature sets to create a harrowing journey through the real-life nightmare of a woman fleeing her abuser. The work quotes slyly from a classic film noir, with viewers invited to peep voyeuristically through windows and cracks in the ceiling as they follow a woman who flees her husband, disguises herself as a private investigator and its hired to look for herself. A mesmerizing score by Chip Epsten adds to the suspense.
