PUMPERNICKEL PUPPETS
was started by John McDonough who decided he wanted to be a puppeteer
at the age of 4. Now he presents 250 shows a year and was featured at
The Puppet Showplace, Boston Childrenıs Museum, Center for Puppetry Arts
in Atlanta, institute of Professional Puppetry, Smithsonian, and the Festival
of African American Puppetry co-sponsored by the Atlanta Committee for
Olympic Gamesı Cultural Olympiad. Mr. McDonough creates his own puppets,
which are small hand puppets from eighteen inches to life size. He provides
the voices and manipulates his entire cast alone.
