New
York artist Dan Hurlin presents Everyday Uses for Sight: Nos. 3 and
7, a two-part evening of object theater. In what has been described
as a love letter to sight, Hurlin draws on history and personal experience
to examine the rewards and dangers of looking. The first piece, No.
3: The Home of Bill and Sandy Kelly, is a collaboration with saxophonist
Dan Froot. The second, No. 7: The Heart of the Andes, is a collaboration
with accordionist Guy Klucevsek.
