Puppeteer Michael Sommers has created more than 30 productions, ranging in scale from small suitcase narratives to main stage shows. With his Open Eye Figure Theatre, he presents A Prelude to Faust, a visually stunning, intimately scaled new work inspired by the Bible and Goethe's Faust, which features puppetry and live music. The Minneapolis Star Tribune calls it "a free-wheeling puppet epic."
